Jasmine Salinas, who won the Gatornationals earlier this season, won her second career title in the Pep Boys/Scrappers Racing entry, defeating third-generation alcohol racer Madison Payne in the Top Alcohol Dragster final round, 5.25 to 5.26. It was just the ninth all-female Top Alcohol Dragster final in history and the second for Salinas, whose breakthrough win in Gainesville came over Julie Nataas.

John Brimer is now a six-time NHRA national event winner and half of them have come in Dallas after he defeated Randi Lyn Shipp in the Stock final. Brimer drove to an 8.881 on his 8.86 dial after Shipp broke out by three-hundredths.

Two-time world champ Austin Williams collected career win No. 19 – nine of which have come in Super Comp – by just .002-second over Kyle Secrest, running 8.919 to beat Secrest’s holeshot-aided 8.926. Williams, who also has nine wins in Stock, lives just a few miles from the track where he has now won three times, including last year, when he recorded his first win in Super Gas.
