A pair of first-time finalists and local racers squared off in the Super Comp final with Marty Simpson capturing his first win in a great finale against Todd McCann. The duo left within a thousandth of a second of one another before Simpson forged ahead for a 9.524 to 9.593 win in the 9.50 altitude index.

In 1986, John Brimer won the Super Gas title in Denver and he returned to the Bandimere Speedway winner’s circle 34 years later with a win in Stock. Brimer matched his 9.55 dial in the final against Jay Storey, who was just a thousandth of a second behind with a 9.820 against his 9.79 dial.

Appearing in his first final round since the 2018 Topeka race, Tyler Wudarczyk scored career win No. 4 in Super Stock after opponent Bill Jenkins red-light by .015-second. Wudarczyk would have been difficult to beat with a .008 reaction time in his GT/MA Camaro. Jenkins reached his first national event win after a perfect light in the semifinals.
