Troy Coughlin Jr. made a big move on Saturday, driving to the No. 1 spot for the first time this season with a run of 6.508 at 210.80 in his JEGS.com Chevrolet Camaro. It’s the second career top qualifier for Coughlin, who has enjoyed a breakout season in 2022 with a pair of victories and five appearances in the finals. He’ll open eliminations against Shane Tucker after making the quickest run in each session on Saturday, also looking to end the year on a strong note and possibly finish second in the points standings to his teammate, five-time world champ Erica Enders. 🔔 Subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/Nhra1951 🌐 Visit NHRA.TV to access more content: https://www.nhra.tv/ 📲 And Follow...
Pomona has always treated Greg Anderson well and that continued Friday in Pro Stock, as the five-time world champ shot to No. 1 with a stellar pass of 6.509 at 211.00 in his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro to close the day. It would give the 100-time event winner his fourth top qualifier in 2022 and the 122nd in his terrific career, along with perhaps the inside track to win in Pomona for the 14th time overall and at the Auto Club NHRA Finals for the second straight year. 🔔 Subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/Nhra1951 🌐 Visit NHRA.TV to access more content: https://www.nhra.tv/ 📲 And Follow us on all our social networks: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NHRA Twitter: @NHRA: https://twitter.com/NHRA Instagram: @NHRA: http://instagram.com/nhra TikTok:...
