Reigning Funny Car champion Ron Capps earned his 75th career NHRA win on Sunday at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals. With the help of his 3.887-second pass at 322.75 mph, Capps defeated Robert Hight for the race win at Brainerd International Raceway.

Antron Brown drove to the victory against Force with a run of 3.840-seconds at 292.01 mph in his 11,000-horsepower Matco Tools/Toyota dragster in the championship round. He defeated points leader Justin Ashley earlier in the day before driving past Force. Brown, a three-time world champion, will try to double-up on Sunday in Brainerd and also earn his second event win this season.

It’s the first win in the bonus race for the defending world champion, who used a .026 reaction time to hold of Kramer’s 6.696.
