Reigning Stock world champ Jimmy Hidalgo Jr. won his tenth national event title in Topeka when he stopped two-time Denver champ Ryan Montford in the Super Stock final. Hidalgo put together a solid package with a .014 light and a 9.803 on his 9.79 dial.

Clark Smiley went wire-to-wire in Comp, racing his way to victory from the No. 1 qualifying sport in his supercharged BB/A GXP. Smiley, runner-up at this event in 2014, scored his third career title and the first outside of his home state of Texas when he defeated defending event champ Doug Engels to (-.55) 7.27 to (-.48) 7.42.
