Angie Smith rockets to the top spot Friday in Reading

Starting the Countdown to the Championship from the seventh spot in Pro Stock Motorcycle, Angie Smith opened the playoffs on a strong note, going to No. 1 with a run of 6.757 at 201.22 on her Denso Auto Parts Suzuki. If it holds, Smith would gain her second No. 1 position this year and the third in her career.
